When traveling with Amtrak Thruway Services (Commuter Services) You need to have the following:

·         Amtrak ticket for thruway service 8004  from Las Vegas Airport

To Kingman, AZ, or Laughlin, NV to Kingman, AZ.

·         Amtrak ticket for thruway service 8003 from Kingman, AZ to

Laughlin, NV or Las Vegas Airport

To obtain these tickets, contact Amtrak at 1-800-USA-RAIL. Ask for the following thruway services above. We provide service 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including all holidays. *Note- tickets that have incorrect destinations or departure cities such as “Los Angeles” are not valid. Confirmation numbers are also not valid for transportation.

If you do not have an actual ticket from Amtrak, you will need to pay the thruway shuttle driver in cash before boarding the shuttle.

Arriving into Las Vegas: The shuttle van will drop off all Amtrak passengers at the Departure Level of the Las Vegas Airport (McCarran). This is the only authorized drop off location that our drivers are permitted to unload passengers on arrival at the airport, transportation to other locations (hotels, casinos, etc.) is available, including Taxis, Shuttle Vans and Airport Hotel Shuttle phones (*Note: Most hotels provide free pickup service.)

Arriving into Laughlin, NV: Amtrak passengers are dropped at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino on Casino Drive.

Departure from Las Vegas Airport to Kingman, AZ Amtrak Station:

The Amtrak Thruway Shuttle van picks up at the Las Vegas McCarran Airport at Zero Level, which is location one level below baggage claim in the Main Terminal. From Baggage Level 1, you will loook for a sign "Zero Level" that is nevet to an escalator. Take the escalator to Zero Level, go thru the exit to the outside of the airport. Walk to the end of the crosswalk that is straight ahead of you. At the end of the crosswalk, you will see a sign “Courtesy Shuttle”. There, you will look for a white van that has “Commuter Services” and has an Amtrak logo on the vans.

All Amtrak passengers need to be at the pick up area at the Las Vegas Airport no later than 9:00 pm. the shuttle will depart at 9:30 pm.

 Laughin: All Amtrak passengers departing Laughlin, NV, should be at the Main entrance (Valet Area) at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. Passengers should arrive no later than 11:15 pm (NV time) for a departure time of 12:00 am (NV time)

 Baggage Restrictions and Responsibility: Carry-on 2 pieces (28" x 22" x 14") or 50 lbs.) Checked - 3 Pieces, each less than 50 lbs. All luggage must be tagged with your Name and Address. Sports equipment must be properly packed. By Law, Passengers must provide child seats for all children less than 6 years of age or 40 lbs in weight.
